On the 29 of November 2023, the Auxilium Life Skills Training Centre Nongthymmai Shillong felicitated the trainees who had completed the “2 months skills Upgradation training on Tailoring and Embroidery” sponsored by the office of the District Commerce and Industries Centre, (DCIC) East Khasi Hills, Shillong. There were 25 trainees well trained by two teachers Sr. Rosalin Warbah FMA and Sr. Monica Kharkongor FMA. Present on this auspicious day were the Director of DCIC Mrs. Daphi Kharjana as the Chief guest, Mr. S. Majaw the General Manager of DCIC as the guest of honour, Mrs. Manbhalin Mawa the Functional Manager of DCIC and Sr. Carmelina Sun FMA the Vice Provincial of Shillong Province, other trainees and the teachers of the centre. The programme started with the words of welcome from Sr. Rosalin Warbah FMA the coordinator of Auxilium Life Skills Training Centre followed by other items, the chief guest and the guest of honour gave short messages and appreciated the hard work and patience of the Sisters in teaching and empowering the trainees with the required skills for their livelihood. During the programme, the trainees through a ramp walk displayed the creative desings of dresses stitched by them. The 25 trainees having successfully completed the course were awarded a certificate each from the Government of Meghalaya Department of Commerce and Industries.
