Holding the helm of the Province at its prosperous period, she is called upon to steer it through the right path and save it from the shipwreck of slackening of the spirit of the Institute and to open out new horizons in order to cope up with the current demands, both social and ecclesial – a work which she has masterfully dealt with and is engaged in making it ever more efficient.

Erected on November 24, 1953, the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Province of Shillong has journeyed these fifty-two years in the grace of God under the leadership of eight courageous women as Provincials.

According to the needs of the time God himself inspired different people to exercise their service of authority in the Province.
