Chapahati is a village which is 45 km from Garobadha and around 355 km from Shillong. The mission of Chapahati was opened on 13th January 2005. The Sisters work in collaboration with the Diocesan Clergy of the Diocese of Tura.

At present there are three Sisters working in the mission. This new presence was canonically established as a full fledged community in 2006 with Sr. Elizabeth Vazhakalayil as the first animator.
