February 19 – 21 were set aside for Sports Days at Auxilium Higher Secondary School, Shillong. The events included race, jump, short put, javelin throw and so on for seniors and the sub juniors.

On the 21^st of February, there was the prize distribution ceremony graced by the Chief Guest, Shri Ambrose Ch. Marak, the Director of Schools Education and Literacy, the guest of Honour, Subedar Major Let Zakham and Hav R l Dasta from NCC 61 girls Battalion. There were a host of our very own members of the family tree present the Superior Sr. Elizabeth Thannimootil, Principal Sr. Lydia Pala, Liliana from Italy, many sisters as well.

The marching contingents of the four houses Red, Blue, Green and Yellow exhibited their orderly display of March past while the Chief Guest took the salute. He also distributed medals to the champion house, the yellow house, followed by the Red and the green house respectively along with other worthy medal winners for other events. Again there was a short list of entertainment in between the prize distribution.

Thus the three day sports fever came to an electrifying end with satisfaction and happiness reigning supreme in each and every being. The pupils enjoyed thoroughly with spirits soaring high as ever setting the right tone to the great journey ahead in “THE FACULTY OF LEARNINGS”
