On 4 November 2016, as a mark of the conclusion of the Jubilee Year of Mercy a one-hour Opera entitled “Blessed are the Merciful” was staged by the students of Sacred Heart Girls’ Higher Secondary School, Mawlai – Shillong at the Auditorium of Sacred Heart Theological College. On 17th of June 2016, the Sisters, Teachers and Students of Sacred Heart Girls’ Higher Secondary School, marched as pilgrims to the shrine of the Sacred Heart of Jesus at Mawlai.
