On October 19, 2013 the whole province thanked God for the gift of vocation given to the Jubilarians of the year. The celebration took place at Auxilium Nongthymai in the presence of the animators of 26 houses of the Province, the Provincial Chapter Members, the nearby communities, the representatives of young people and the family members of the Jubilarians.

Sr. Hilda Baragan celebrated her Diamond Jubilee, the Golden Jubilarians were Sr. Celine Michael and Sr. Isidora Pasi and the four Silver Jubilarians namely Sr. Marcellina Sangma, Sr. Maristella Ryngkhlem, Sr. Patricia Nongkhlaw and Sr. Lucy Marak. Sr. Mary concept Pakma too celebrates her Silver Jubilee this year but was unable to take part in the celebration. The centre of the celebration was the Holy Eucharist celebrated by Fr. Januarius Sangma, younger brother of Sr. Marcellina who is the Rector and Principal of Don Bosco School, Tura. In his homily he said “Jubilee is a celebration of God’s faithfulness”. He reminded everyone present that one can look back and count the blessings God has showered upon each one of them throughout their religious life be it sixty, fifty or twenty five years.

After the Holy Eucharist a sumptuous family meal was served to everyone present. This was followed by a felicitation programme where the sisters and young people staged few items to honour the jubilarians.
