What a proper and appropriate way to start the Mother Mazzarello and Don Bosco week with a hearty wish on Mother’s Birthday. The start of the celebration was on 9th May when the Principal, Sr. Lydia Pala inaugurated the event. The students of class XI presented a melodious song, followed by a choreography depicting the life of Don Bosco.
It was full of meaning and attracted the attention of all and sundry. Yes, the students of classes V and VII did a marvelous job indeed. The next session was the screening of the movie “St. John Bosco- A mission to love” in all the classes where Educomp smart classes were operational and students adjusted according to the respective class. Teachers too enjoyed such fantastic reel life story of Don Bosco. There were skits, songs, poems etc depicting the life of Don Bosco and Mother Mazzarello. The creative aspect of the students came to the fore and it was an enjoyable experience for both the students and the teachers. The celebration’s climax unfolded with floral tributes paid to Mother Mazzarello and Don Bosco, as a token of love and gratitude on May 13. There was a grand cultural programme with a finale at the end. Last but not the least, there was a Basket ball match after the programme between Yellow and Blue house where Yellow house was the champion of the inter house basketball.
Thus the Mother Mazzarello and Don Bosco week was a great one. It was a unique and enriching experience for every individual in “Auxilium” The learning curve goes on unabated making the week a memorable one.
